Yeah super cool.. sounds like meditation might have similar effects. I definitely found the more I write the more I’m aware of subtle things around and with me. Dig it šŸ¦„

Yeah I've been really interested lately in the similarities and differences between these kinds of daily practice (meditation, reflection, prayer, active imagination, mantras, journaling, etc.) Writing seems to be one of those things that almost universally helps with awareness since it forces you to 'complete the circuit' of your thought by turning the abstract into something real. Thanks for reading :)

Yeah absolutely, writing also forces you to engage with the experience on a deeper level as you are actively trying to capture parts of it.. doing basic magic and healing practice I found that writing really busted the door open to awareness on synchronicity etc.

No worries looking forward to reading more of your stuff ā˜ŗļø

this is fantastic! i really like the way you framed this discussion around the personal narrative with Mr. P — it made me really connect with topic through the narrator. plus the birria taco caption killed me. excited to read more of your work!

Well written. Although less consistent this is a practice I’ve come back to since my college days. It is a powerful tool especially in using reflection to build a future. From remembering upcoming events and addressing failings to making commitments and how to keep them.

Thanks Jak! Definitely a helpful one and pretty easy to get into/maintain because it's not a crazy time commitment.

We can’t grow without some self reflection!

I once worked for a company that integrated the concept of it in what was modeled after the Japanese kaizen.
